Meet a CSGer: Jason

Former Montanan

I was born and raised in Montana. With landscapes as wild and beautiful as its substance use disorder rates are high, MT will always have my heart. The Thai food is better in Denver—everything is better in Denver—but somehow it always feels really nice to go home, and I’ll probably move back someday.

Here’s a picture of me near my hometown, Livingston.

Former Reader

I read a lot when I was growing up, dividing my time evenly between Calvin and Hobbes and books with animal facts. Now I divide my time evenly between scrolling Hulu and complaining that there’s nothing good on Hulu. One of my goals for 2024 is to activate the library card I signed up for last year (😬) and put some miles on it!

Here’s a picture of me reading in an athletic stance, for balance.

Current Music Lover

I love music. I played the violin when I was younger and then switched to guitar at some point to be cool. I could easily spend all my free time going to concerts or recording songs in my little home studio. I’m trying to branch out on Spotify more, so if you ever come across a new band or song you like, feel free to tell me about it!

Here’s a picture of me enjoying some live music.

Current Plant Dad (Hostage

I started with one little Dieffenbachia and now cannot move from room to room without tripping over a plant. My every waking moment is consumed by thoughts of how much moisture is in some plant pot or other. Please send help.

Here’s a picture of my home.
